National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

Every year during the second week of April, the professionals working at 9-1-1 centers across the United States are honored.

This week-long event, initially started in 1981, is a time to celebrate and thank those who dedicate their lives to serving the public.   It is a week that is set aside at Red River Regional Dispatch Center to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of those working in the 9-1-1 center.

During the challenging circumstances related to COVID-19, the commitment of 9-1-1 professionals to serving their communities and protecting responders has never been more apparent.

Thank you for your dedication and professionalism.
