Summer Sandness

Summer Sandness worked at Red River Regional Dispatch Center from January 2001 to June 2014.  Summer worked as a Communications Operator and Shift Supervisor for RRRDC.

Summer was known as a good friend and coworker during her time at RRRDC.  She had a generous heart, a quick smile, and cared deeply for her family and friends.   Summer passed away on March 9, 2019, in Fargo, ND.

 

 

 

 

Jo Dahlen

Jo Dahlen worked at Red River Regional Dispatch Center from January 2009 to April 2015.

Jo was an amazing person with a big personality and huge heart.   She was a valued employee at RRRDC and a friend to many.   Jo was known for her love of books and animals.    She died on February 21, 2016, in Florida.

 

 

 

Kyle Marple

Kyle Marple worked for the RRRDC from January 2006 to April of 2008.  He was a respected professional in his job, a valued co-worker, and close friend to all.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kyle passed away while following his passion for skydiving on April 28, 2008.

 

 

Law Enforcement Memorial Day

May 15th is annually recognized as Law Enforcement Memorial Day.  In 2014 area Law Enforcement officials from around the region gathered to pay respect to all those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.  Kathleen Wrigley, the wife of Lt. Governor Drew Wrigley gave the main address having lost a brother in the line of duty several years ago.  Other speakers included Sheriff Bill Bergquist from Clay County.
