Casual Weekend Donation


Each year RRRDC employees make donations for the chance to wear jeans on weekends.   At the end of the year, a local charity is selected to receive these casual day funds.   Make a Wish North Dakota was selected as the recipient of the 2017 casual day funds.    Make a Wish North Dakota has been granting wishes for North Dakota children diagnosed with life-threatening medical condition since 1985.  RRRDC employees are pleased to be part of making a child’s wish come true with this donation.

2017 9-1-1 Calls by Month

Red River Regional Dispatch Center answers 9-1-1 calls from callers in the Cass County, ND/Clay County, MN area.   83,068 calls to 9-1-1 were answered at RRRDC in 2017.   This includes 62,682 calls from the Cass County area and 20,386 calls from the Clay County area.   The busiest month for 9-1-1 calls in 2017 was August.    The busiest month varies from year to year but it is often July, August, or December. 911 Call

National Public Safety Telecommunicator Week

Every year, the second full week of April is proclaimed as National Public Safety Telecommunicator Week. During this week, we recognize our 9-1-1 Communication Operators at Red River Regional Dispatch Center (RRRDC). 9-1-1 Communications Operators are more than just a calm and reassuring voice on the other end of the phone.
