Calling 9-1-1

Over 80,000  9-1-1 calls are expected to come in to the Red River Regional Dispatch Center this year.   Many of these calls are not emergencies.   In order for communications operators to most efficiently process emergency and non-emergency calls, callers with emergency situations should call 9-1-1, callers requesting non-emergency assistance should dial the non-emergency number.
