RRRDC Building Acquisition – November 2014

The RRRDC has been fortuante enough to lease property for its operations over the past eleven years.  As per the lease agreement there was an opportunity to purchase the property after ten years.  The Board of Directors saw this as a valuable investment for the future and moved forward on securing funding for the purchase. Cass County Voters Pass New 911 Fee Structure – November 2014

Voters turned out on November 4, 2014 and cast their ballots for a number of candidates as well as state and local initiated measures.  Cass County Measure #1 was one of the measures on the ballot and asked for voters to decide on raising the current $1.00 per month fee for all emergency communication devices to $1.50 per month.  The orginal fee had been in place for over thirty years.  This was the first time the voters have been asked to raise the fee and they overwhelming agreed by a 61 - 39 % margin.
